New invention: Escherichia coli secretion system

An inventor from Malaysia presented at the Nuremberg IENA Invention Fair 2013 his invention: “Escherichia coli secretion system”. The invention is a bacterial secretory expression system which promotes high-level recombinant protein production. The system contains an engineered secretion signal to direct recombinant protein export and solubility. The advantage of this system is that it reduces production and operational costs compared to conventional production systems.

New invention: Standardized extracts of Micai kucing leaves with concentrated sinensetin

An inventor from Malaysia presented at the Nuremberg INEA Invention Fair 2013 his invention: “Standardized extracts of Micai kucing leaves with concentrated sinensetin”.

The invention includes standardized extracts of Orthosiphon stamineus leaves with more than 4 % of major compounds (sinensetin). These extracts are obtained from the Supercritical Carbon Dioxide extraction process. CO2 is used as a solvent which is non-toxic, has non-flammable properties, it is recyclable and is available in high purity at low costs.

Inventors from Malaysia presented at the Nuremberg IENA Invention Fair 2013 their invention: ”Natural colorant from areca catechu linn for textile industry”. The invention consists of natural colorant produced from natural product with color obtained through green and non hazardous extraction method. It also contains catechin that are beneficial to human health and have anti-oxidant activity. 

This invention has a potential for broad international application. The inventor is interested in commercialization of its inventor seeking appropriate interested manufacturer.
