New Invention: Soil cell as an alternative source of renewable and sustainable energy

Two  inventors from Malaysia have presented at the Geneva Invention Fair 2013 their  invention: „Soil cell as an alternative source of renewable and sustainable energy”. The invention  Soil Cell uses simple voltaic sell concept which consist of two electrodes and electrolyte. This invention widely reduces the use of batteries and as such reduces the negative effects from use of the batteries on the environment and nature. Soil Cell has bigger capacity and longer durability than  the batteries. The costs for production of soil cell are low, it is environmental friendly. 

New Invention: “Effect of Achillea fragrantissima extracts on cancer cell lines” A new source for Leukemia treatment.

Three researchers from Saudi Arabia have presented at the Geneva Invention Fair 2013 their  invention: „ Effect of Achillea fragrantissima extracts on cancer  cell lines” which is new source for Leukemia treatment.

Effects of isolated compounds of Achilea fragrantissima extract on animals:

Five compounds were isolated from the extract using  chromatography (CC) and preparative  chromatography (TLC) named as P1, P2, P3, P4 and P5 . The structure of the isolated compounds was confirmed by spectroscopy means.

New Invention: Elixir Fiber

One  inventor from Taiwan have presented at the Geneva Invention Fair 2013 his  invention: „Elixir Fiber“ . The invention is making  use of the new application of the liquid absorbing power of the polymer product will be applied to remove all harmful all the harmful toxic substances solved in the solutions out of the living body to protect the organism from injury by toxins.  Benefits of this invention: amazing clinical effects including: keeping sobering  (Wine God RT), body weight control,  (Venus RT), blood sugar control, hyperlipidemia control, gout control.

New Invention: „Health Water“

Two Russian inventors have presented at the Geneva Invention Fair 2013 their invention:

„Health Water“

The invention is functional potable water for stimulating lymphatic drainage of toxins from the intercellular spaces in human body.

The invention constitutes method of generation and application of „Health water“

One inventor from Thailand have presented at the Geneva Invention Fair 2013 his invention:

„Telephone for the deaf “

This invention is specifically designed in order the daef people to be able to be contacted by telephone in visual and written way.

Benefits of this invention:

Worldwide application of the invention which allows simple and easy telephone communication with the deaf persons and between deaf persons.

One inventor from Thailand have presented at the Geneva Invention Fair 2013 his invention:

„Roselle Innovation“

Roselle tablet was researched and debeloped aimed to help hypertension, hypercholeseterolemia and diabetes. According to USP standard criteria , roselle tablet was stabile and its shelf – life was longer than 2 years.

One South Korean inventor have presented at the Geneva Invention Fair 2013 its invention:

„Automatic feeder of meal and snack for pets“.

This invention secures automatic supplies of a variety of shapes and sizes of snacks for pets and ensures safety also in case of epidemic in livestiock farm, preventing infection on people.

The invention enables control over the quantity of the grain and the automatically vending of it.

Patentability of human genes in question

Crucial activity has been undergone regarding the patent case law when the US Supreme Court has heard arguments questioning whether the human genome can be claimed as intellectual property. This case is connected to a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union in 2009 that aims on the question whether companies should be able to patent genes. US authorities have been awarding patents on genes to universities and medical companies for almost 30 years. The case itself may have deep impact on future gene research.
