New Invention: Water Conditioner

An inventor from Bahrain presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: “Water Conditioner”.

 

The device is an ordinary wall mount storage electric water heater, simply modified by adding cooling system placed on the top of it with a change over switch to operate ether the heating section or the cooling section, to heat or cool the water respectively according to the end user desire.

 

New Invention: Raining Sensor

An inventor from United Arab Emirates presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: “Raining Sensor”.

The raining sensor device is designed by using a small number of various electronics components. They were connected in a certain way to reach the goal of the design. The aim of the design is to protect the expensive equipments from getting damage from rainfall and water leaking in buildings.

New Invention: Electronic Water Counter

An inventor from Kuwait presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: “Electronic Water Counter”.

 

The invention provides daily amount of water at certain and instant times, equipped with data sending / receiving service which is very useful for houses as well as water supply stations.

An inventor from Saudi Arabia presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: “Patient Tracker for a perfect patient journey”.

 

Variation in the delivery of healthcare is still a major concern. This variation has many negative effects on clinical care, it included: variation in the clinical outcomes, cost, quality of care and patient satisfaction. More importantly it could result in medical errors which is causing thousands deaths each year.

 

New Invention: Wireless monitor

Inventors from Saudi Arabia presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: “Wireless monitor”.

 

Any patient undergoing any surgical procedure in the OR should be attached to a monitor through cables to continuously monitor vital signs and other physiological data. These cables may disturb free movement around the patient in the OR, meanwhile, can be disconnected from the patient accidentally by the staff, which will increase the risk of complications in the OR.

New Invention: Smart, Efficient, & Easy Blood Glucose Monitor Device

Inventors from Saudi Arabia presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: “Smart, Efficient, & Easy Blood Glucose Monitor Device”.

 

Some of the people who are using the blood glucose monitor device are not familiar with the numbers that are shown on the device screen. The current devices don’t provide the patient with the historical pattern about his/her blood glucose and it is also not connected with the hospital servers to keep the doctors and emergency department connected about the patient’s cases.

 

New Invention: Laryngoscope with pressure monitor

Inventors from Saudi Arabia presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: “Laryngoscope with pressure monitor”.

 

When performing tracheal intubation for patients in OR, ICU or ER, laryngoscope is used. Laryngoscope can be traumatic procedure because the health care provider can apply unnecessary pressure on the teeth, jaw, gum, tongue and all other surrounding tissues.
