Fees which need to be paid when filing a Euro-PCT application / Examination fee

Examination fee:

In order substantial examination of the Euro-PCT patent application to be made, the examination fee must be paid (A supplementary European Search Report shall be drawn up in respect of any Euro-PCT application).. The request shall not be deemed to be filed until the examination fee has been paid. This fee amounts 1.555,- EUR.

Тhe examination fee may be paid when filing the application, but it must be paid latest up to the end of six months after the date on which the European Patent Bulletin mentions the publication of the European search report. If it’s not paid in due time the application shall be considered as withdrawn.
