EUROPEAN PATENT – CONTENT AND FORM OF THE AMENDED EUROPEAN PATENT SPECIFICATION

According to Rule 96 and other regulations of the European Patent Convention (EPC) Implementing Regulations (IR)

The amended European patent specification shall include the description, claims and drawings as amended.
The President of the European Patent Office (EPO) shall determine the form of the publication of the specification and the data to be included.
The designated Contracting States shall be indicated in the specification.
As soon as the specification of the amended European patent has been published, the EPO shall issue to the proprietor of the patent a certificate for a European patent. The President of the EPO shall prescribe the content, form and means of communication of the certificate and determine the circumstances in which an administrative fee is payable.
