EUROPEAN PATENT RENEWAL FEES

According to the regulations of the European Patent Convention (EPC), Renewal fees for a European patent application in respect of the coming year are due on the last day of the month containing the anniversary of the European patent application's date of filing. This fees are to be paid starting from the third year for each year of the further duration of the European patent registration procedure before EPO.
The European patent registration procedure usually lasts between three to five years.

The renewal fee in respect of the third year actually amounts 690,- EUR and may be paid up to six months before it falls due. All other renewal fees may not be validly paid more than three months before they fall due.
We give as follows the actual amounts of the Renewal fees which are to be paid from the fourth year on:

Renewal fee for the 4th year 845,- EUR
Renewal fee for the 5th year 1.000,- EUR
Renewal fee for the 6th year 1.155,- EUR
Renewal fee for the 7th year 1.310,- EUR
Renewal fee for the 8th year 1.465,- EUR
Renewal fee for the 9th year 1.620,- EUR
Renewal fee for the 10th year 1.775,- EUR
Renewal fee for the 11th year 1.775,- EUR
Renewal fee for the 12th year 1.775,- EUR
Renewal fee for the 13th year 1.775,- EUR.
Renewal fee for the 14th year 1.775,- EUR.
Renewal fee for the 15th year 1.775,- EUR.
Renewal fee for the 16th year 1.775,- EUR.
Renewal fee for the 17th year 1.775,- EUR.
Renewal fee for the 18th year 1.775,- EUR.
Renewal fee for the 19th year 1.775,- EUR.
Renewal fee for the 20th year 1.775,- EUR

The EPO Schedule of fees is updated every year, accordingly before payment of the fee is to be made insight into the EPO Schedule of fees in order to be determined whether the actual amount of the fee is the same or have been eventually amended.
