New Invention: “WE-CARE”-an mHealth System for Health Risk Monitoring and Early Warning”

Inventors from China presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: “WE-CARE”- a mHealth System for Health Risk Monitoring and Early Warning”

According to a reported by WHO and ITU in 2012, mobile health (mHealth) is expected to advance the healthcare industry in near future by offering preventive healthcare solution. Driven by such promising future, a novel mHealth system-WE-CARE (Wearable Efficient teleCARdiology systEm) was developed, which generates real-time disease risk alerts without sacrificing user mobility or losing important clinical information.

Primarily focus on Cardiovascular Diseases, WE-CARE, which can collect and deliver heath conditions of NCD (Noncommunicable Diseases)-affected people to a professional healthcare center online for the smart data mining.

WE-CARE is the world’s first mHealth system that secured the license for clinical trials/applications.

Special features and advantages

- Collects physiological data from user wearing the device and transmit to remote center for data mining and analyses;

- Smart data mining algorithm for cleansing clinical features from raw medical data;

- Offers 24/7 risk alerts to NCD-affected patients;

- Provides health advices to the public.

The inventors are interested in commercialization of their already patented invention and are seeking appropriate interested manufacturer. European Patent Registration and Consulting Services GmbH has made direct contact with the inventors and has access to information about the invention directly from the inventors.
