New Invention: Telephone for the blind (Screen reader & keypad to speech)

An inventor from Thailand presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: “Telephone for the blind (Screen reader & keypad to speech)”.

The invention was research, design and develops to work in Thailand environment and can operate with low voltage electricity that was sent on phone line without any additional power source.

Objectives:

To facilitate disabled people for communicating to the general public and among those disabilities which could lead to a better interaction in the society;

To support government policy of bridging digital divide in equitable and equal to both general public and disabled individual;

To develop public phone sets in support of regulation issued by the National Broadcasting

and Telecommunication Commission (NBTC) in the term of national telecommunications and Universal Service Obligation ( USO );

To create good image as the National telecommunications Company by initiating a better service for the disabled which lead to well – being society in equitable with interaction level.
