New invention: Standardized extracts of Micai kucing leaves with concentrated sinensetin

An inventor from Malaysia presented at the Nuremberg INEA Invention Fair 2013 his invention: “Standardized extracts of Micai kucing leaves with concentrated sinensetin”.

The invention includes standardized extracts of Orthosiphon stamineus leaves with more than 4 % of major compounds (sinensetin). These extracts are obtained from the Supercritical Carbon Dioxide extraction process. CO2 is used as a solvent which is non-toxic, has non-flammable properties, it is recyclable and is available in high purity at low costs.

This invention has a potential for broad international application. The inventor is interested in commercialization of its invention and  is seeking appropriate interested manufacturer.
