New Invention: Oil spill control

An inventor from Finland presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: “Oil spill control”.

The invention consists of natural and non-chemical oil dispersant which:

  • Is a synergic blend of selected non-pathogenic microbes with non-toxic formulation of biological activators which digest hydrocarbon, oil grease and organic molecules degrading them into carbon dioxide and water;
  • Has neutral PH, is non-corrosive, non-flammable, safe to use and bio degradable. It does not irritate skin.
  • Reduces BOD/COD/SS/FOG of wastewater prior to release in public wastewater systems.

Parts Cleaner is free from organic solvents, preservatives, any type of biocides or chemicals. The fact that it is biodegradable and reduces oxygen demand means that it does not harm the environment during use and that washing solutions can be disposed of safety.

This invention has potential for broad international application.
