New Invention: Aircraft antenna ANT-406VA

A group of inventors from Russia presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 the invention: ”Aircraft antenna ANT - 406VA”.

The antenna ANT – 406VA has a high-strength glass fiber laminate radome, the internal antenna cavity is filled with polyurethane foam mixture. Antenna electrical scheme contains three monopoles of different length, matching circuits and multiplexer for combining three frequencies to one input. All the elements are placed on a printed circuit board.

Innovative advantages:

Antenna ANT – 406VA has:

  • high goal for all frequencies;
  • unique lightning protection system which is placed on the outside surface of the radome;
  • special coating which makes static charge flow down to increase lightning resistance of the antenna.

Antenna ANT – 406VA has:

  • is several times cheaper than foreign analogs;
  • is serially produced by JSC ISDE;
  • has no analogs in Russia.
