Fees which need to be paid when filing a Euro-PCT application / Renewal fees

Renewal fees:

Renewal fees for the Euro-PCT patent application become due in respect of the third year and each subsequent year, calculated from the date of filing of the application.

Renewal fee for the Euro-PCT patent application in respect of the coming year shall be due on the last day of the month containing the anniversary of the date of filling of the Euro-PCT application. Renewal fees may not be validly paid more than three months before they fall due.

The amounts of these fees are:

– 445,- EUR for the 3^rd year; 

– 555,- EUR for the 4^th year;

– 775,- EUR for the 5^th year;

– 995,- EUR for the 6^th year;

– 1.105,- EUR for the 7^th year; 

– 1.215,- EUR for the 8^th year; 

– 1.325,- EUR for the 9^th year 

– 1.495 EUR for the 10^th and each subsequent year up 20^th , year. 

If a renewal fee is not paid in due time, the application shall be deemed to be withdrawn. However the fee may still be paid within six months of the due date, provided that an additional fee ( + 50% of the amount of the renewal fee which is not paid in time) is also paid within that period.
