An inventor from China presented at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2014 his invention: „Intelligent carbon nanofiber clothing for self-help physiotherapy“.

The invention is a novel intelligent clothing material that generates far infrared and biological magnetic vibration together with carbon nanofiber as lining fabric.

Carbon nanofibers (CNFs) have excellent mechanical properties and high electro-thermal conversion efficiency (>98%). Used as heaters, the CNFs generate far infrared (FIR) that can be easily absorbed by the body with multiple biophysical and rehabilitation benefits. Biological magnetic vibration is also employed for physiotherapy treatment targeting specific body parts. Together the FIR and magnetic biological field can promote metabolism, activate cell regeneration and regulate nervous system for tissue and organ rehabilitation.
